Where to Go, What to Do

In early September, start looking for our Program Guide in and around Burlington - it's a yellow book with our map, schedule, and all the participating artists and businesses listed. All of this information, including a downloadable map, will also be on the Art Hop website.

If you'd like to, you can download the locations and map section of the Program Guide to print.

Some Hop Tips

One of the biggest challenges to visitors to the Art Hop is how to get started. We suggest you first spend a few minutes reviewing your Program Guide, and decide on a starting point. Because there are things to do and see all over the South End, pick one area to begin and move by foot, bike, limo, car or bus to the next. Take your time and enjoy.

Because we know everything cannot be experienced on Friday, we have continued to enhance our Saturday offerings. Check the Saturday schedule to take advantage of the variety of demonstrations and workshops throughout the day. The Chittenden County Transit Authority (CCTA) will run a free, specially marked bus traveling throughout the South End to the different clusters of events. Art Hop bus stops will be marked. Remember that many places will be open on Saturday, and in the case of the juried exhibitions (Maltex Building and outdoor sculpture), as well as the art in many businesses will also be on view throughout the month.

You will also be able to bid on the items in the Silent Auction - in the lobby of Great Harvest Bread Company - on Friday night during the Celebration.
